So, potty training has been put on hold for a bit. It's slow going and we are working off of him and when he wants to go. We are in no rush and neither is he. He is in Pull Ups during the day, so he can get a feel of when he pees and diapers at night (we've had a few leakage issues).
We will be picking up a twin size mattress for the little dude to sleep on. He's been officially out of his crib for about a month now (sleeping on his crib mattress on the floor) and loving it. He has all the freedom to goof around and naps whenever he wants. We won't be putting it on a bed frame because he rolls off in the middle of the night, half wakes up to the thunk and makes his way back into his bed while talking to himself. It's kind of funny to watch - not to sound mean! He also uses his mattress to practice his stepping up and down so he doesn't have to hold our hands when a little step gets in his way. I am also looking forward to the bigger mattress too so we can cuddle when reading stories at bedtime.
He is getting so big now, it's amazing to watch.
I love it!
