I'm Amazed...Again!

My cheeky little monkey continues to amaze me everyday. Since he was a baby, we have read to him, talked to him and would point things out so he can see what they are.

He had shocked me one day when he picked up one of his Baby Einstein blocks, pointed to the number on the side and said "TWO", I sat there speechless. I turned the block over and asked him what the other numbers were (to see if he knew) and he named them ALL!!! I was all proud of him for remembering the animals and objects in his books that we would ask him to find, and then that happened! The best part of it all is the proud look on his face when he does this. He is becoming such a little man now...Being all smart and stuff.

Now, at 20 months, he practically recites the alphabet (the best is when you randomly grab a letter and he tells you what it is), he counts and points to things telling us what shape/color it is. It's just amazing how quickly kids learn and catch on to the little everyday things that happen around them. He LOVES to look at books and have us read to him.

I am so proud of him.

Now the question we ask ourselves is "WHERE DID HE GETS HIS BIG BRAINS FROM???"
