Ok...this happened a few weeks ago, but it was so insane it keeps lurking in my brain and I thought I would share.
This could almost go into a category of campfire stories or urban legends...something you would tell your kids to freak them out a little so they behave later in life.
I was in the car with my Mom (she was driving) to do some shopping. We pulled up to the intersection leaving my house and stopped at the stop sign. Once the coast was clear, we proceeded to turn left. No problem, until this psycho hose beast came out of nowhere, rode on our ass and started to freak out on her horn and was LITERALLY jumping up and down in her seat while flipping us off. Talk about multi-tasking! She looked as though she missed her daily sedative. No kidding, we are talking freaky circus monkey, she was this SCARY!
I usually have no problems with someone who flips me off, but this woman followed us for quite some time. She was preparing herself to make a turn (she did this about 3 times) when all of the sudden she cancelled that thought and sped up to us, (weaving in and out of traffic to get to us too) tried to get ahead and continued to bounce in the driver's seat yelling at the top of her lungs (with all her windows CLOSED), whipped off her seatbelt, flipping herself around so she can see us through her rear window (while STILL driving) and kept flipping us off. (More multi-tasking!) She needed help. Something snapped in this woman's head. Other cars were looking over at her wondering what the hell her deal was and were backing away. Seriously, who can drive their car sitting BACKWARDS and jumping around to boot?!?
GET OVER YOURSELF LADY...GO HOME & TAKE YOUR MEDS! Usually I don't get scared by flippers and weird drivers, but this lady (if she wanted to) could have caused a LOT of bodily harm. If given the chance that we had both stopped at a red light, she would have got out of her car and killed us both. I had my cell phone ready to go, had we come across this scenario and lucky for her we didn't. My Mom was heading towards the Police station after her second attempt of not turning. She must have followed us for a good 20-30 blocks. What freak does this???
THIS is the type of person who SHOULD NOT be allowed to have a driver's license. Plain & Simple.
I guess the reason I thought of telling this story was because of what happened tonight on our way to pool. My Fiance & I were stopped at another intersection (both intersections are a two way stop and a set of lights) AGAIN, we were wanting to turn left, (maybe we should only turn right from now on) but had to wait until the coast was clear. Once clear, we waited on a car across from us who wanted to go straight, but failed to move. We honked our horn to get his attention and signalled him to go (seeing that HE had the right-of-way) and in return, he thanked us by FLIPPING US OFF!
Fricken whackos.
I don't get it.
