A Little Zen

In a previous post I have said that I wanted to find Serenity, Tranquility & Harmony. Well, I haven't found it quite yet, but I am still looking. I came across some Zen cards that I bought while ago on my honeymoon and they are pretty neat. They don't work like the average cards where you ask a question and randomly pick a card. With these, you ask yourself what you want to achieve regarding a problem, get a new perspective on a troubling situation or to answer a question. Once you have that established, you look through the cards and choose the keyword you are looking for. For example, if you are looking to achieve Clarity for something, this is what the card would tell you:

Be clear in all things. As a calm POND reflects the full moon perfectly, let your actions REFLECT your speech, and your speech reflect your actions.

It's gonna take some strict inner training on my part to do some of these, but I will try my best. For example the Forgiveness one. I find that to be a little hard and there is definitely one person who I will NEVER forgive. With all the rest there is a possibility because in comparison, their actions were ever so minor...almost nothing.

I have found a few of the cards to be helpful, but again it's going to take some inner training to be able to follow and understand the meanings for what they really are.

Here is what Zen means for those who don't know:
A school of Mahayana Buddhism that asserts that enlightenment can be attained through meditation, self-contemplation, and intuition rather than through faith and devotion and that is practiced mainly in China, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam. Also called Zen Buddhism.
