Life Cut Short

I just learned yesterday that a friend of mine, Travis, who I haven't seen in a few years passed away on Friday, April 21st. It was a hit and run and Travis was hit head on. From what I was told he was alive at time and was taken to the hospital where they did 2 surgeries to save him, but he ended up passing away leaving behind his new wife and 9 month old son. Travis was only 31.

It turns out that the driver of the truck that hit him turned himself in yesterday. Thankfully that is something less for the family to have to deal with during this tragic time, however they still have a long road ahead.

It makes one think when so many deaths happen around you in such a short amount of time.

I just think of Travis's wife and son and can't help but think of what I would do if that were me. A widow at such a young age to raise their son. Thankfully she has a bunch of family & friends surrounding her to help her out. My heart goes out to his family.

Travis was a character. I tell ya, when he walked into a room you knew the night would not be boring. Some of the weird things that guy would come up with were priceless. For one, he gave everyone a porn name because he said that when he grew up he wanted to make porn movies. One of his names was Rusty Boner. LOL. Did he ever grow up? Never. He was a kid at heart and that wasn't about to change. Unfortunately at this time, I can't remember the porn name he gave me. He even assigned all of us jobs to do during the making of his porn films. I think I was a lighting girl. ROFL. This is just a taste of the kind of guy Travis was. He was a clown.

He had many Friends & Family who loved him and he will be truly missed.



Travis, you were definitely a unique person and I will always have fond memories of our laughs and great times! Cheers to you!
